Responsibilities:
- Establish strategies of operations relating to the compliance of tax returns, planning, estimates and extension, meanwhile, optimize MG Motor's current taxation policies; supervise the implementation of these strategies, monitor tax audits on a pan-European basis.
- Lead the financial management of all SAIC Motor entities including tax planning/management, oversight of budgeting process, and year-end audit processes with a view to obtain a clean audit and meet deadlines.
- Lead the finance team members, set strategic goals for standardization and manage implementation.
- Manage financial planning and analysis, define and deliver on all objectives and targets set for the business, with excellence and effectiveness.
- Establish and monitor ongoing enhancements and control systems designed to preserve company assets, report accurate and timely financial results to the GMs Implement principles and improvement strategies regarding the integrity of all financial records and controls.
- Develop financial models to help drive strategic business decisions and financial plannings, drive the financial planning of the company by analyzing its performance and risks.
- Develop and implement best practices in order to help MG Motors grow, increase profitability and increase overall company value without compromising the team’s performance and well-being.
- As the primary financial strategist and strategic partner to the GMs and executive team, partner with them to make critical financial and operational decisions.
Requirements:
- At least Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field required.
- Experience: 10 years of progressive experience.
- Experience leading the finance functions in the automotive industry is strongly preferred Extensive supervisory experience and strong communication skills.
- Excellent command of English in both writing and speaking, Dutch speaking is a big plus CPA is a plus.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel are preferred.
- Thorough understanding of Dutch GAAP and other finance related principles in the Netherlands Skilled in the use of basic computer applications (MS Office).
- Good coordination and communication skills Must be able to work independently: self-starter.
